Vasiliy Suvorov, CEO for MeshNetics, presented his vision of the future of ZigBee technology in his interview to West Technology Research Solutions of November 14th, 2006.

MeshNetics unveiled its new ZigBee/802.15.4 modules with the innovative dual chip antenna design at the Electronica show in Munich, Germany, on November 14, 2006. The new design adds up to 2dB of antenna gain, which translates into a 1.5 times increase in operating range.

MeshNetics will begin shipping its new 2.4GHz 802.15.4/ZigBee Evaluation Kit. It will be the first to feature the latest Atmel RF transceiver, the AT86RF230, which has the highest link budget of any 802.15.4 radio.

MeshNetics together with the UK telemetry partner BOX telematics has successfully completed the trial of the ZigBee-based wireless solution deployed to monitor building subsidence for Crawford & Company, the world’s largest independent provider of claims management solutions to insurance companies. Using the Zigbee-based wireless solution, Crawford & Company found that claim assessment time was cut dramatically.

The SensiLink integration platform serves as a gateway between wireless sensor networks (WSN) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), IP-based and custom applications.

At the ZigBee Open House in San Jose, California, on June 15, MeshNetics unveiled its newest 802.15.4/ZigBee OEM module. The ZigBit is based on the industry leading hardware platform. Occupying less than a half square inch of space, ZigBit module features best-in-class sensitivity, long range and low power consumption.
