Wireless networks help streamline industrial automation

Vasiliy Suvorov, Luxoft Labs' Managing Director and CTO, gave a speech at the second annual Wireless M2M Congress in Dusseldorf, Germany, on the benefits of integrating wireless sensor networks in industrial processes and the challenges that stand in the way of their widespread adoption. Wireless sensor networks make it easy to collect and process large volumes of real-time data and make it possible for companies to increase efficiency, streamline operations, better manage their physical assets, and improve their understanding of all aspects of their operations. This in turn allows companies to differentiate themselves from the competition by transitioning from a commodity-based business to a service-based business, thus boosting revenue and improving customer relations.
