eZeeNet Software Development Kit (SDK) for Atmel AVRRZ502

MeshNetics eZeeNet Software Development Kit (SDK) is a flexible tool designed to evaluate Atmel’s AVRRZ502 RF Accessory Kit and develop WSN applications, based on MeshNetics eZeeNet software stack. MeshNetics eZeeNet Software is a robust IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee networking stack software that enables RZ502 boards to perform as nodes in a self-healing, self-organizing mesh network.

MeshNetics eZeeNet SDK includes WSN Demo, an embedded application, supplied in source code, which enables ZigBee developers to:  

• Evaluate operation of the ATAVRRZ502 RF Accessory Kit hardware as part of a full-featured ZigBee network
• Program the RZ502 kit’s boards (RZ502/STK500/STK501) to operate as network nodes, and build custom wireless sensor network topologies
• Visualize live network topology showing the actual node roles (coordinator/router/end device) via WSN Monitor, a PC-based GUI application for WSN Demo
• Evaluate network performance, including self-healing and self-organizing features
• Browse hardware parameters of remote nodes
• Manage nodes using a convenient GUI: e.g. send change channel mask and reset commands

Multivendor network environment can be implemented. For instance, Atmel’s RZ502 and RZ200 boards as well as MeshNetics’ Meshbean2 boards can operate as a single wireless sensor network.
